Community Guidelines

1. Treat people like people

Do not:

• threaten, encourage, celebrate, or coordinate violence or serious harm;
• target someone with repeated harassment, sexual harassment, degrading abuse, or unwanted contact;
• attack people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, caste, religion, disability, serious disease, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, or immigration status;
• deny or praise documented mass atrocities in a way that promotes hatred or harm;
• encourage self-harm or provide instructions intended to help someone carry it out; or
• organize dogpiling, brigading, or off-platform harassment.

Disagreement, criticism, profanity, and blocking someone are not automatically harassment. Use blocks and local moderation for ordinary interpersonal conflict; report credible threats, illegal or harmful content, and privacy violations.

If someone may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services. ThinkBub is not an emergency service.

2. Protect privacy and consent

Do not share or threaten to share another person's private information without permission, including home addresses, precise real-time location, private contact details, government identifiers, financial or medical records, login credentials, or non-public intimate information.

Do not post non-consensual intimate imagery, sexualized recordings made without consent, or content obtained through hacking, coercion, or voyeurism. Respect requests to remove accidentally exposed private information.

3. Keep children safe

Users must be at least 16. We have zero tolerance for child sexual exploitation or abuse material, grooming, sexualization of minors, or attempts to obtain sexual content from a minor. Do not post, request, link to, describe for exploitative purposes, or joke about such material.

We may preserve and report apparent child sexual exploitation material and related account information to the appropriate authorities and child-safety organizations.

4. No illegal or dangerously harmful activity

Do not use ThinkBub to facilitate illegal activity or serious harm, including:

• human trafficking or sexual exploitation;
• terrorism or violent extremist recruitment, praise, material support, or operational propaganda;
• credible threats, swatting, stalking, or instructions to carry out violent wrongdoing;
• sale or transfer of illegal drugs, weapons, stolen goods, forged documents, or unlawfully obtained data;
• malware, credential theft, fraud, scams, money laundering, or evasion of sanctions; or
• instructions whose primary purpose is enabling serious wrongdoing.

Good-faith discussion, journalism, prevention, recovery, and educational or historical material may be allowed when it does not facilitate harm.

5. Sexual and mature content

Pornographic or sexually explicit content is not allowed. Sexual exploitation, non-consensual content, and any sexual content involving minors are always prohibited.

Mature but non-explicit discussion or imagery may appear only in a Bubble clearly marked as mature and must comply with all other rules. Do not use misleading previews, avatars, banners, Bubble icons, or other broadly visible surfaces to expose people to mature material unexpectedly.

6. Be authentic; do not deceive or spam

Do not:

• impersonate another person or organization in a misleading way;
• misrepresent affiliation with ThinkBub or use official-looking identifiers without permission;
• run scams, phishing, fake giveaways, or deceptive monetization;
• artificially manipulate reactions, memberships, reports, subscriptions, or other engagement;
• create accounts to evade a restriction or ban;
• send unsolicited repetitive promotions or post substantially identical content across Bubbles; or
• use automation that disrupts the Service or deceives users.

Parody and fan accounts are allowed when they are clearly labeled and not misleading.

7. Respect intellectual property

Post only content you have the right to share. Do not infringe copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights. Give attribution when a license requires it. Copyright owners should use our Copyright and DMCA Policy.

8. Follow Bubble rules and keep discussions usable

Post in the appropriate Bubble and forum, follow reasonable local rules, and avoid deliberately derailing discussions. Bubble moderators may remove off-topic content, organize forums, restrict participation, and enforce local standards even when content does not violate these platform-wide Guidelines.

Do not abuse reports or appeals. Submit a report when you genuinely believe content requires moderator attention, and include only information relevant to that review.

9. Subscriber content and creator conduct

Do not bypass subscription gates, share access credentials, or redistribute subscriber-only content outside the access granted by its creator. This does not limit rights provided by law, including fair use.

Creators must accurately describe paid access, deliver what they reasonably promise, avoid deceptive earnings or charity claims, and not pressure users to pay through threats, harassment, or manipulation. Paid status never exempts anyone from moderation.

10. Enforcement

Depending on the context, history, and severity of a violation, Bubble moderators or ThinkBub may:

• add a warning or mature-content treatment;
• limit visibility or remove content;
• lock, move, or restrict a thread;
• mute, remove, restrict, or ban a member from a Bubble;
• stop subscription renewal or limit monetization;
• suspend or terminate an account or Bubble; or
• preserve information and contact appropriate authorities when legally required or reasonably necessary to address serious harm.

We may consider attempts to evade enforcement and patterns of behavior on or directly affecting ThinkBub. We do not promise to review every piece of content or resolve every user dispute.

Where the Service offers an appeal, use that process once and explain why the decision should change. An appeal is a request for another review, not a guarantee of reversal.

11. Reporting

Use the in-product report option for spam, off-topic content, illegal or harmful material, and privacy violations. Reports go to the relevant Bubble's moderators and are not public. You may not receive an individual response or learn the outcome.

12. Updates

We may update these Guidelines as the Service and its risks change. We will post the revised version and update the date above. Material changes will receive reasonable additional notice.
