Playing Slay The Spire 2?
Who's your favorite character so far? Regent? I bet it's Regent.

maybe they'd know.
I'm afriad of skeletons
Conceptually The Regent cuz royal on throne.
Ironclad is pretty straightforward and easy to play.
The Silent has been my 'best run' with a 2-turn nuke of the run's final boss.
Necrobinder (skeleton) is new and haven't really found a way to make the character feel 'good' to play outside of multiplayer (where multiple players stacking doom really fast scales pretty well and got me a win).
The Defect (robot in the middle) is solid but I haven't had any runs where my builds scale to absurd damage but there's definitely combos that do.
No
After getting more lore, that whale in the basement, Neow, kind of a bitch, huh?
I have yet to see any reason to resent The Architect other than "You created the world and should have to pay for our mortal miseries."
The ironclad
what is this dog shit
The sequel to Slay the Spire that kind of made deckbuilding roguelikes cool at the end of last decade. Your deck is made up of attacks and skills (either providing guard for the turn or stuff like status effects and/or draw/discard.
My big problem with StS1 was that it was too easy by default and didn't incentivize higher tier runs past clearing the game with each character once to get the 'true ending'. The sequel has a better unlock system that drops more coherent lore and in all around better balanced/design including w/ co-op. It's good.
